Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 25, 2026

1. Overview

TimberLab respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have when you use TimberLab's website, mobile app, and related services.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information, such as your user ID, email address, and sign-in provider details when you create or use an account.
  • Content you provide, such as uploaded furniture photos, project names, prompts, generated scenes, saved project data, and support messages.
  • Subscription and purchase information, such as entitlement or subscription status, billing platform, and transaction-related status information provided by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.
  • Technical and usage information, such as device type, app version, approximate diagnostic timestamps, request identifiers, crash or error details, and similar operational logs used to keep TimberLab reliable and secure.

3. How we collect information

We collect information directly from you when you sign in, upload images, enter prompts, save projects, or contact us. We also collect certain information automatically through the app and our service providers when needed to authenticate users, store content, process requests, manage subscriptions, and keep the service working properly.

4. How we use information

We use information to operate TimberLab, authenticate users, process furniture images and text prompts, generate 3D previews and cut list drafts, save projects, manage subscriptions, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve product reliability and security.

5. Service providers and disclosures

We may share information with service providers that help us operate TimberLab, such as providers for authentication, databases, storage, backend functions, AI processing, subscription management, app store billing, hosting, and customer support. These providers may include Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, and Google Gemini or related Google AI services that process uploaded images or prompts to generate app output. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, to prevent fraud or abuse, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

6. Uploaded images and AI output

When you upload an image or request AI analysis or text-based generation, your prompt, image, and related request data may be transmitted to our backend and Google Gemini or related Google AI services to generate project data. AI output can be incomplete, approximate, or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing all generated dimensions, plans, cut lists, and safety assumptions before building or relying on them.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide TimberLab, maintain your account, preserve saved projects, manage subscriptions, investigate abuse, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Local-only guest projects and preferences remain on your device until you clear them. Signed-in users can request deletion from inside the app, which is intended to remove the TimberLab account and associated synced data we are not legally required to keep, subject to backup, fraud-prevention, accounting, tax, and legal retention needs. App Store or Play Store subscriptions are managed separately through the relevant store and may continue until canceled there. You may also contact us at shany.solt@gmail.com regarding deletion or privacy requests.

8. Your choices

Depending on your location and the nature of your use of TimberLab, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information. You may also be able to manage subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings, review or revoke AI data-sharing consent in the app, and clear local guest data on your device. If you have privacy or data-rights questions, contact us at shany.solt@gmail.com.

9. Tracking and advertising

TimberLab is not designed as an advertising product. We do not describe TimberLab as using your information for cross-app tracking or third-party advertising unless and until our practices change and this policy is updated.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, lost, altered, or disclosed without authorization.

11. Children

TimberLab is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to TimberLab, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to review and delete it where required.

12. International processing

TimberLab and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. By using TimberLab, you understand that your information may be processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection rules than your home jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.

13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice where required by law.

14. Contact

For privacy questions, account deletion requests, or other data-related requests, contact us at shany.solt@gmail.com.
