1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of TimberLab, including our website, mobile app, AI image analysis, Google Gemini-powered generation features, 3D previews, cut list drafts, saved projects, subscriptions, and related services. By accessing or using TimberLab, you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding agreement to use TimberLab. Some features may require an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, for the accuracy of information you provide, and for activity that occurs through your account.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use TimberLab unlawfully or in violation of another person's rights.
- Do not upload content you do not have permission to use.
- Do not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, probe, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or misuse TimberLab or its underlying systems.
- Do not use TimberLab output as the sole basis for unsafe, structural, life-safety, or other high-risk decisions.
4. User content
You are responsible for the photos, prompts, project names, project data, and other content you upload or provide. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use that content with TimberLab. You grant TimberLab a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, maintain, improve, and support the service.
5. AI output and woodworking safety
TimberLab uses AI, including Google Gemini or related Google AI services, to generate project drafts and related output. AI-generated models, dimensions, cut lists, and suggestions may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your tools, materials, joinery, load requirements, codes, or workspace. You are responsible for independently reviewing all output, verifying measurements, and following safe woodworking practices. TimberLab does not provide engineering, architectural, safety, legal, or professional construction advice.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
Some TimberLab features may require a paid subscription, such as TimberLab Unlimited. If you purchase a subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, billing, renewals, cancellations, trials, price changes, and refund handling are governed by the applicable store's terms and policies. Unless canceled, auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting your TimberLab account does not automatically cancel store-managed subscriptions.
7. Third-party services
TimberLab may rely on third-party services for authentication, hosting, storage, database operations, AI processing, subscription management, and payment handling. These providers may include Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, and Google Gemini or related Google AI services. Your use of TimberLab may also involve the terms, policies, and technical limitations of those providers.
8. Intellectual property
TimberLab, including its design, software, branding, and service content, is owned by TimberLab or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you upload, subject to the limited license described above.
9. Suspension, termination, and account deletion
We may suspend or limit access to TimberLab if we believe you are violating these terms, creating risk, misusing the service, or causing legal, security, or operational issues. You may stop using TimberLab at any time. Signed-in users may request account deletion inside the app. If you request account deletion, we may retain limited information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, or enforcement of these terms. Local guest data can be cleared from the app on the device where it was created.
10. Availability and changes
We may update, improve, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of TimberLab at any time. Features may change over time, including AI models, design outputs, pricing, and subscription offerings. We may also update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will update the date above and provide notice where required.
11. Disclaimer
TimberLab is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TimberLab will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, materials, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service or reliance on generated output.
